At CrossFit Sebastopol all levels of fitness and experience are welcomed and encouraged. We offer a variety of classes to help you achieve your fitness goals.
One of CrossFit's basic beliefs is that optimal fitness is not through long, single-body part training, but rather through "constantly varied, functional movement, performed at a relatively high intensity." CrossFit workouts often include elements of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing and core conditioning. With every new day comes a new “WOD” or Workout of the Day offering a new and challenging workout. All fitness and experience levels are welcomed and all participate in the same workout. All workouts are universally scalable to be very challenging for each individual athlete (including adapting the workouts to an individual’s movement limitations or a previous injury). Our coaches are all certified through CrossFit Inc. and will instruct you through all of the movements with an emphasis on perfect form to prevent injury and make sure you get a great workout.

Looking to get started with CrossFit and not sure where to begin? Our five session CrossFit On-Ramp is the perfect way! We'll coach you through the “Foundational CrossFit Movements” to establish a solid technical base to build on. Skill work, gymnastics work and strength work will then be introduced to complete your CrossFit introduction. All fitness and experience levels are welcomed, and the movements are scalable to challenge every athlete (including adapting to an individual’s movement limitations or a previous injury). By the end of the program you'll be practicing the movements safely, confidently, and efficiently. At the completion of the five sessions, you'll be ready to jump into any CrossFit class for a great workout.

BARBELL BETTYS: FEMALES only fellas. We will be working on our lifting techniques, core, and getting our bodies primed for bikini season as well as hormone stimulation. The Barbell Bettys class happens every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm.
BARBELL BROS: MALES only. This testosterone boosting class will include technique, heavy lifts, and accessory work. Come at the end of the female class so we can show you how its done. The Barbell Bros class happens every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30pm.

Open Gym is your time to practice a skill, do some lifting to build strength, do a WOD with a friend, do a conditioning workout on a machine, or work on gymnastics. During Open Gym athletes have access to all of the equipment including rowing machines, Assault Bikes, the SkiErg, the GHD, the Reverse Hyper, kettlebells, medicine balls, Olympic rings, pullup bars, plyoboxes, barbells and plates, freeweights, squat racks, and more. Open Gym classes are not coached, so come work on a weakness or chase a special PR.
